========================================================= RDRS SpectraLib - Scientific Hardware Bridge ========================================================= Welcome! This tool connects your physical laboratory spectrometer (QHY CCD) directly to the RDRS SpectraLib web browser application. By running this bridge, you bypass standard web-camera compression, allowing SpectraLib to analyze your raw, 16-bit scientific data (0-65,535 counts). --- HOW TO USE --- 1. Plug your QHY Camera into your computer's USB 3.0 port. 2. (Important) Ensure NO other software like SharpCap is currently using the camera. 3. Open the "RDRS SpectraLib Bridge" application. 4. Click "Start SpectraLib Bridge". The status will turn green. 5. Open your web browser and go to https://rdrs.uaic.ro 6. Expand the "UV-VIS Acquisition" panel in the left sidebar. 7. Check the box for "Scientific 16-Bit Mode". 8. Click "Open Camera". Your raw 16-bit data will instantly stream to the browser! You can safely minimize this bridge window and control the exposure, gain, and offset directly from the website. --- TROUBLESHOOTING --- - "Camera not found": Ensure the QHY Windows drivers are installed and the USB is plugged in securely. - "Mock Bridge": If you do not have the physical camera with you, you can click "Start Mock Bridge". This generates a simulated 16-bit spectrum so you can test the SpectraLib interface from anywhere. For technical support, contact me > andrei.apopei@uaic.ro
